It turns out that my SPS has a little prince living in her house. I have seen him at the ranch, he has two elderly horses that he cares for each day. He has come to visit me a few times but we have never done anything together. This past Saturday I watched as the little prince set up an obstacle course in the arena. I thought he might be planning on entertaining the two elderly horses and I planned to watch. As it turn out the little prince intended on entertaining me. The little prince took me to the arena and we had our first ride. I wore just a bareback pad, a lovely green leather one bought just for me. The little prince lead me through the course so we could get to know each other better, then he rode me through the course. I take my royal responsibilities seriously. I was very careful with the little prince and he had a good time. At the end of our ride the little prince spent time grooming me and telling me what a grand horse I am. This photo is of the little prince brushing me, I like his helmet on the post in the foreground. He wore his helmet, it is a safety item that the SPS won't let him mount up without, even though I would never purposely dismount this young man.
