Here I am Sir Darby the reluctant Elf. I am not sure what the SPS was thinking yesterday, but clearly she was short some of her mental faculties. She appeared at my domicile with two very silly hats. She made the rounds of the entire herd and had each equine wear both of the hats. Some equines were better about it than others. I did not mind the hat she said was an Elf hat, although it did resemble the hat worn by a court jester who once performed at my royal housing. I did however draw the line at the hat that had blinking lights, wiggled around on its own, and sang the same Christmas song over and over. I indulge the SPS because she brings me hot mush in the evenings as an aperitif before I get my hay, that is a lovely treat. Have a grand holiday season!
