The Wrestlers first ride

The Wrestler, the SPS's nephew, took his first riding lesson. It was a big step for him because his last horse ride, as a small child, involved being bucked off and kicked. I was honored to be his teacher. He is a good student and I made sure that he had a good time. He has decided that he would like a horse of his own.

It takes a horse with a royal nature to put a smile like this on a young man's face. It makes me so happy when I make my rider smile.

Oh yah baby, I got mad skills

During our soccer game this weekend I devised a cunning plan to keep the ball from the other horses. I would carry it on my back, thus allowing me to score easily. None of the other horses were that clever. Although I have to admit I did not appreciate it at all when the ball would fall off my back, I would jump a bit when that happened. The nice thing about this method is I don't have to kick the ball and risk ruining my royal pedicure.
He of the spotty butt would not allow the ball to ride on his back. He would get all wally eyed and snort...he needs to have more of a royal attitude I guess.
Another game is scheduled for this evening.

I am a work of art!

Paul Daniel Gold did this beautiful picture of me from a photo the SPS took of me. She is having it turned into a pendant.
He does such wonderful work, it is really amazing.
She is thinking about having he of the spotty butt done also.

Soccer

The SPS has decided that horse soccer might be a fun sport to pursue. I am not to sure about that. It involves chasing around a rather large ball and either bumping it with my nose or kicking it. I did bump it with my nose, but kicking is out because it might damage my pedicure. The SPS ran around the arena with me, rumor has it that eventually she plans on riding me while I chase the ball, sounds like work and I am not sure that is what a horse of my royal stature should be doing.

I am stunning!

The SPS thinks that this photo is so nice she left it in color. I am trying out a new bit for the first time. It seems that I "lay" on my bit and use it for leverage, at least that is what the SPS thinks. Actually I am doing so on purpose to assist her in toning up her arms so she needs to appreciate my efforts.
The SPS thinks that I am so pretty that she will often just sit and look at me...nice to be noticed.
